- Khaleesi. This girl’s name is a favorite for those who watch Game of Thrones and are a fan of the powerful and strong female character. In fact, it’s so popular that 146 babies were given this name in 2012 alone.
- Elsa. Frozen was such a hit movie, it’s no wonder so many babies are being named after one of the lead sisters from the animated Disney movie. In fact, according to Babycenter.com, Elsa raised in rank from 278 in 2013 to 183 in 2014.
- Anna. Of course, the other sister in Disney’s Frozen is getting some love as well. While Anna is definitely more popular this year, it didn’t have as much of an increase because it was already a relatively popular name.
- Django. For boys, a very popular name in 2013 was Django, inspired by Django Unchained. This unique name came in at fourth place for popular baby names for boys in 2013.
- Declan. Revenge fans seem to love the name Declan for boys. This was the second most popular baby name for boys in 2013, according to Nameberry.
